Our Social Mission

At Sweet Freedom Cheese, we don't just want to bring you delicious cheese.

 

We want to make the world a better place.

Our doors remain open during the ongoing crisis, and we feel that we have the responsibility to help leverage our food buying resources for health care professionals, displaced workers, and the underserved in our community. To help combat hunger, Sweet Freedom Cheese is partnering with local food banks, non-profits, and still-open restaurants and kitchens to get food into the hands that need it.

Our long-term social mission is to help others find their own personal freedom by collaborating with local small businesses and supporting non-profit organizations such as area food banks and other institutions in our community.  Through free classes, volunteer assistance, food donations, and charitable contributions, we strive to be a force for good (and gouda) in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Along with the 8th Street Market, we have made a commitment to be a zero-waste facility.  We make every effort to use compostable, recyclable, or reusable products to divert the maximum amount of waste to our landfills.
